TACKLING
Tackling is one to one; buffer to buffer. Other players should be 3 metres from the ball. However, contact with any other part of the chairs or ramming is a foul and is NOT allowed. If in the referee’s judgement either of the above have taken place, an automatic free kick is awarded to the opposing team and a yellow card may be given to the offending player. If the referee determines that violent ramming has occurred a red card will be given and the offending player must leave the pitch.

HEADRESTS - We recommend that they are fitted, but many players feel that they restrict vision and movement. If you wish to have a headrest, please consult your chair supplier.

FOUL PLAY
A free kick is awarded by the referee to the team disadvantaged by the following descriptions of foul play:
Deliberate blocking of the players not in possession of the ball and thereby preventing the opposition from tackling.
Deliberately using another player as a shield when in possession of the ball.
Controlling the ball by any other means than the buffer or the side of the chair. (Rear of the chair must not be used).
Striking or attempting to strike an opponent using hands, feet or any other means.

SAFETY NOTE
Players must use lap seatbelts. Leg, feet and chest straps should be used if normally worn.

DISCIPLINE
The referee’s decision is final.

SERIOUS FOUL PLAY
Should any player deliberately prevent a goal scoring chance by ramming, they shall be given a yellow card.
